چکیده
Background/Aim: Protein may play a positive beneficial role in the augmenting Bone Mineral Density (BMD), mitigation bone resorption and consequently risk of osteoporosis. The effect dietary protein be different older adults compared to younger adults, since this population has greater need for protein. aim study is investigate impact intake below Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) 0.8 g/kg /day from any source (Group I) on (BMD) higher ≥0.8 g/kg/day our Jordanian osteoporotic patients. Methods: This trial was single-center retrospective study, conducted 206 participants who attended rheumatology clinic between Sep 2021 Nov at Prince Rashid Bin Al-Hasan Military Hospital under ethical approval Ref #24, 1/2022. results were expressed as Mean±SD Mean difference±SEM. correlation strengths binary categorical variables also an odds ratio. FRAX score 3% used dichotomize overall cohort into two cohorts. Univariate Multivariate Linear Regression Tests sequentially abstract significant coefficients predicting 10-year fOHF risk.

Low Bone Mineral density in Childhood ALL
In this study, a majority was mild to moderately anemic and none of the girls was severely anemic. Further, in this article we have looked at the mean change in the cognitive scores of initially anemic girls. These girls were not compared with their nonanemic counterparts as very few girls were nonanemic on whom cognition test scores were available both before and after the intervention in each...
متن کاملMagnesium intake and bone mineral density in young adult women.
The purpose of this study was to determine a possible association between magnesium intake and bone mass in young adult women. Subjects consisted of 106 female university students aged 19-25 years. Calcium and magnesium intakes were evaluated using the duplicate sampling method on three weekdays. Spinal and femoral bone mineral density (BMD) was measured by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry. Mea...
متن کاملEffect of intravenous zolendronic acid on bone mineral density in post-menopausal women with low bone mineral density.
Background : Menopause is the period during which systemic oestrogen level is reduced. During postmenopausal period, bone remodelling cycle is distorted and is occasionally associated with low bone mass which is the major determinant of bone strength. Zoledronic acid, a third generation bisphosphonates available as an alternative formulation approved for the treatment of postmenopausal women. A...
متن کاملIs protein intake associated with bone mineral density in young women?
BACKGROUND The range of protein intakes for optimizing bone health among premenopausal women is unclear. Protein is a major constituent of bone, but acidic amino acids may promote bone resorption. OBJECTIVE The objective was to examine cross-sectional and longitudinal associations between baseline dietary protein and bone mineral density (BMD) among 560 females aged 14-40 y at baseline enroll...

Background: Failure to maintain bone mass density is a major complication in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF). This study was conducted to evaluate the prevalence of low bone mineral density (BMD) and also identifying associated risk factors in CF patients. Materials and Methods: Present study conducted on 59 CF patients aged 5-35 years referred to respiratory clinic of Masih Daneshvari Hospi...
